About Lab

The precision manufacturing lab focuses on the areas of micro-machining and nanofinishing of various components such as biomedical implants, freefrom surfaces, aerospace and automotive components having a wide range of soft to hard materials. Our research in these areas emphasizes the development of novel procedures, methods and setups. These novel setups include the process of magnetorheological fluid-based finishing, electropolishing, plasma polishing, micro-ECM and micro-EDM processes.
