• Bearing Friction Apparatus is used to investigate friction on slide bearings and on roller bearings with different replaceable bearing shells and roller bearing respectively.
• A shaft (stainless steel) with a cable drum and flywheel mounted on a base plate where the weight of the heavy flywheel generates bearing forces.
• The moment is applied by means of weights which is equal to the friction moment at the start of the rotation and the coefficient of friction is determined.
