Dr. Chitrarth Prasad is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the High-Fidelity Computational Multi-Physics Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University. He earned his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 2019 and his Master’s in Computational Mechanics from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2016. While pursuing his PhD, he was a part of a university-industry cooperative project to develop a new method of noise reduction applicable to tactical fighter aircraft engines. At present, his primary research interests focus on the development of state-of-the-art data-driven and physics-based techniques that can be used to understand, predict, and control noise radiation from turbulent flows.
