Dr. Tanmay Dutta, Assistant Professor at the EEE department, has been named a Young Associate of the Indian National Academy of Engineers (INAE) for his contributions to engineering. Specializing in spintronics, advanced memory technologies, and quantum systems, he leads a research group focused on energy-efficient solutions for next-gen memory, computing, energy, and healthcare applications. Dr. Dutta’s work on Magnetic Random Access Memory (MRAM), spin-orbit torque devices, and heat-assisted magnetic recording has gained wide recognition. His research, with over 20 publications in top journals, earned him global recognition, including the Emerging Scientist award at the Falling Walls Lab in Berlin (2020)
