ABOUT ME

Industrial experience: I have eight years of industrial research experience focusing on water and wastewater treatment, industrial process water, sustainable water recycle, power, renewable and oil & gas sector. Out of which for three years, I was a program manager for water business in ABB Ltd. All those years, I have invented core products such as OPTIMAX ® membrane performance system, energy audit tool for desalination plants.

Academic experience: Since last four years, as a faculty in IIT Guwahati I have taught both UG and PG courses. Most of the students I have mentored, i.e. eight UG, five Master, fourteen PhD students work-ing/worked on industry funded projects worth 6.5 core INR. 

Proven record in problem solving: My resume details a wealth of projects that focus on solving problems – from optimizing performance levels and identifying requirements and developing new products.

Solid record of scholarly contributions: Execution of 20+ research projects, 19 patent applications (3 granted) and 40+ publications provide strong evidence that I am a productive researcher.
