Biography
Dr. Shrikrishna Nandkishor Joshi is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. With over two decades of experience in academia, research, and strategic academic administration, he specializes in advanced manufacturing technologies including laser-based material processing, micromachining, mechatronics, CAD/CAM, and precision machining. He has led multi-crore funded research projects, contributed extensively to academic program development, and actively engages with national policy-making bodies. His work bridges cutting-edge research, teaching innovation, and industrial application.
