International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2024:

International Day of Persons with Disabilities was celebrated on 3rd December 2024 in the institute by the EOSRC, IIT Guwahati. As a part of the celebration a pledge taking ceremony was held in the forenoon and an event was organised in the afternoon, where Dr. Himashree Bhattacharyya, Associate Professor, Department of Community and Family medicine, AIIMS Guwahati and Prof. Mihir K Purkait, Dept. of Chemical Engineering were present as Cheif Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. Some invited students from Guwahati Blind School were also present and felicitated in the programme.
