Research Interest

Debjit Ghoshal’s research focuses on the synthesis and manipulation of two-dimensional materials such as graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides (2D TMDCs) for applications in optoelectronics, photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, and plasmonics. He is particularly interested in engineering material properties through defect control, doping, strain modulation, and plasmonic coupling to advance next-generation energy-efficient device technologies.
