7. Data presentation and statistics

Two cameras are employed to view the flow field from two viewing directions. Focusing an off-axis camera requires tilting of the camera sensor (Scheimpflug condition). Laser is used to generate light sheet to illuminate tracer particle inside flow. Each camera measures particle displacement normal to its viewing direction. Two projections of velocity (Δu, Δv) are obtained, one from each camera. All three components of velocity (Δu, Δv, Δw) vector can be reconstructed.
