CAREER VISION

To contribute more to Genomics, Peptidomimetic/Nucleosidic drug design and development program, and pharmacogenomics for screening and further designing of Personalized Medicines for curing the diseases at the genetic level with all-round positive health impact.

1.    Adoption/Innovations for Drug Development

To Establish Major R & D program in the following Drug development research at IIT Guwahati and/or in industrial collaboration:  

  •    Peptidomimetic drug as β-Amyloid Inhibitors to Treat Alzheimer Disease

  •    β-Turn Peptidomimetics and Nucleoside Drug for Treatment of AIDS

  •    α-Ketoamide Analog Peptidomimetics and Avigan Analogue Nucleosides Drug for the Treatment of COVID-19

2.    Adoption/Innovations for Futuristic Technologies

  •    Peptide-based OFET Sensor to Microfluidic Channel for Sensing of Blood proteins for Biomedical application and of Chemicals/Biological Warfare Agents for Defence Applications.

  •   Fluorescent-DNA-based Microarray for for high-throughput mutation analysis and disease diagnosis in a parallel, cost-saving, and label-free way for Biomedical Applications.

 

3.    Industry-Institute Bridge

To nurture and foster Industry-Institute Bridge by creating opportunities for Industry-Academia venture for the growth of My Country is my Vision.

 

4.    Vision for the Organization

I want to establish a Globally Recognized Centre for Genomics and Proteomics at my organization which will be a park for health research.

 

5.    My Commitment to the Organization

Finally, I commit to play a major role in uplifting my present Institution to become a Centre of excellence both in education and in globally recognized research activities in science and in technology focusing the human health research.
