Research Overview
The AAI group at the CSE Department, IITG, is focused towards addressing real-world problems, in particular providing intelligent solutions to challenging industry-related issues.
The research at the AAI Lab focuses on the foundations and applications of intelligent, interpretable, and trustworthy AI. The lab’s research spans Explainable AI and Model Interpretability, Neuro-Symbolic Reasoning, Multimodal Learning, and Physics-Informed AI, with an emphasis on developing theoretically grounded and interpretable models for complex data-driven systems. The lab also investigates industrial and engineering applications where AI-based methods can support reliable analysis, prediction, monitoring, and decision-making.
