There is PhD opportunity available in our group during the year 2025-26. The research works are related to (i) Free space optical communication and (ii) optical super resolution microscopy (area that won the Nobel prize in Chemistry in the year 2014). The work will involve theoretical understanding as well as experimental implementations. Pre-requisites: ability to learn, think and apply the concepts of Physics (not mandatory to have any special knowledge in the relevant area).
