I am doctoral researcher at the Robotics Lab., working on applying bio-inspired machine learning algorithms in Robotics and Internet of Things. I am working under the guidance of Prof. Shivashankar B. Nair from June 2017. I am also working as Machine Learning Scientist - Intern at Eli Lilly and Company

I have worked on:

  • Neuroevolution applied to robots in an online and on-board manner
  • Evolving programs using Genetic Programming techniques
  • Transfer Learning in Deep Neural Networks

Research interests: Evolutionary Computation, Artificial Immune Systems, Embodied Learning in Robots, Deep Learning, Federated Learning and Blockchain in robotics.

  • Started working as Machine Learning Scientist - Intern at Eli Lilly and Company (Advanced Analytics and Data Sciences)
  • Selected to attend the Google Research India - Research Week with Google (Asia - Pacific region) from 8th - 11th February 2022.
  • Worked as a Teaching Assistant for the course - Artificial Intelligence in Medical Devices at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Guwahati from July-August 2021.
  • Research Paper "An Immuno-Inspired Transfer Learning Paradigm" won the Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE Conference on Congress on Evolutionary Computation (CEC) 2021, Kraków, Poland (28 June - 1 July 2021)
