About MISP 2012

Biomedical Signal Processing has always been a fascinating field of research. It has found lots of research and development in past decades but still there are many more mysteries to explore. The main objective of Biomedical Signal Processing is to extract the significant information from biomedical signals. With the help of Biomedical Signal Processing physicians can monitor distinct symptoms.

In the same context, Electro Medical and Speech Technology (EMST) Laboratory of IIT Guwahati is all set to organize a workshop on Medical Image and Signal Processing (MISP 2012), to present the cutting edge technological developments in this field. The workshop will include the distinguished lectures from the prominent personalities in the biomedical and the related fields from India and abroad, where they will share the recent trends and applications in this field and the probable issues to be addressed in upcoming years. The researchers in academic, government and industrial organizations are hereby solicited to participate in this workshop.
