Dr. Chowdhary received the B.Tech. degree from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India, in 2015. He worked in the telecom industry as a Solution Integration engineer with Ericsson India Global Services Pvt. Ltd. from 2015-2017. He joined Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India, in 2017, as a dual degree (MS + Ph.D.) research scholar in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering and graduated on Jun-2022 with Best Thesis Award.
Research areas: Development of smart optical devices and energy harvesting using plasmonic metamaterial absorber.
Dr. Tanmay Bhowmik

Dr. Bhowmik received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Tripura Institute of Technology, Agartala, India, in 2013 and the M. Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India, in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, he was a Project Associate in the Photonics Research Group at Electrical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. Since 2018, he is a full-time Ph.D. Scholar in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India.
Research areas: Development of electrotunable metamaterials and metadevices for optical modulation using epsilon-near-zero materials.
Miss. Shreya Kesari
Assistant Engineer

Shreya Keshari is an Electronics Engineer who completed her BTech in Electronics Engineering (2017-2021) from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and pursued MTech in Microelectronics RF and Photonics (2023-2025) at IIT Guwahati. She actively contributed as a Training and Placement Cell Representative and a Coordinator at the Society of Exploration and Innovation during her academic years. She completed her part-time MTech in 2026 January and is presently working as an Assistant Engineer at NTPC, applying her technical expertise in the energy sector.

Mr. Gulshan Kumar

Gulshan obtained his B.Tech and M.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, Rajasthan. He began his career as a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. There, he contributed to the project titled Next Generation Wireless Research and Standardization on 5G and Beyond within the Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management. Following this, he worked at the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, as a Junior Research Fellow on the project 6G: THz Test Bed with OAM. Currently, Gulshan served as an Associate Project Engineer on a project focused on the Development of Thin Flexible Metamaterials as Add-ons to MRI Scanners for Enhancing MRI Efficiency, Affordability, and Accessibility.
Research area: 5G millimeter-wave technology, Terahertz communication, Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) and Substrate Integrated Circuit Line (SICL) antennas, and Planar Horn antennas.
