ABSTARCT: We will begin our discussion on basic topology with a beautiful theorem by Euler. Our discussion initially will be concentrated on polyhedron. The statement and proof of this theorem motivated many ideas of topology. Then we will talk about Topological equivalence i.e. "homeomorphisms". We will wrap our discussion with the question "When two topological spaces are not homeomorphic ?"
