Theyyam as an Environmental Theatre: History, Perception and Future
The research attempts to explore and delineate not only the nuances of the cultural and visual significance of folklore, Theyyam, but also considers it as a medium of art and how it influences society. A study on cultural anthropology and its changes with the advancement of human society over time, visual aesthetics of the performance and the perception of the environmental ritual as a medium. And thus, to tell people a story of God, of a forgotten past, a misappropriated history and how Gods are born today, but not Theyyam.
