Professor Swaroop Nandan Bora: Faculty Achievements
06th Dec 2021 Prof. Swaroop Nandan Bora has been elected as the President of the Indian Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ISTAM) for the year 2022. Prof. Bora is the first person from North East India to hold this post in 66 years of history of ISTAM.
02nd Dec 2021 The research proposal submitted by Prof. Swaroop Nandan Bora and Dr. Sunanda Saha (VIT Vellore) under Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE) scheme has been approved by DST. This will facilitate Dr. Saha to visit IITG for three months in a year for three years to work with Prof. Swaroop Nandan Bora.
