Professional position: Professor, Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay B. Tech. from IIT Delhi, 1989 winning the President's Gold Medal. Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, 1994. Have been on the faculty of IIT Bombay since July 1994, with research and teaching activities in the broad area of communication and signal processing, with special emphasis on multiresolution signal processing and wavelets.
