Work Novel Bio-inspired mechanisms using Mobile Agents that Clone and Track Pheromones developed. A simulator was coded from scratch to study these mechanisms in both static and dynamic networked environments. Practical prototypes using real networked robots were developed and tested. The research also yielded directions towards implementing a Network of Things. A naive but real working prototype of such a network of Things was demonstrated in the Robotics Lab.
