1.  As Head, Centre for the Environment (from September 2008 to August 2011)

Integrated new faculty colleagues into interdisciplinary research, streamlined equipment and consumable purchase processes, Centre internal operations streamlined, weekly seminar by research scholar introduced, a series of talks delivered by speakers/visitors from abroad and country, collaboration with embassies developed, new lab plan and layout completed, new furniture requirement planning completed, equipment-AMC-consumables-library funds well utilized, facilitated conference visit by research scholars, obtained sponsored project for Centre, initiated project proposal submission process by newly associated faculty members and finally, shifted the entire center infrastructure to a new building followed by reorganization of labs and equipment. Was a rewarding experience.
