Drug Targets Protein Database
Drug Targets Protein.

As per growing number of microbial pathogens and their harmful effect on eukaryotic species due to high resistivity against already existing drugs, there is need of different approaches for complete lethal action on pathogens without affecting host. Simultaneously the development of effective antimicrobial drugs is the major challenge in field of pharmacogenomics. Most of the previous approaches are revealed with identification of essential genes on basis of experimental data acquired from gene disruption and systematic mutagenesis studies on the bacterium. Here in we are listing targets in pathogens which are predicted by using different computational models to develop drug which can show better antimicrobial effect than already existing drugs.
