The short term course will be organized in the Conference Hall, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.

 

About IIT Guwahati

The campus of IIT Guwahati is spread over 285 hectares of land on the north bank of River Brahmaputra at around 20 km from the Guwahati city. With the majestic Brahmaputra on one side, and with hills and vast open spaces on others, the campus provides an ideal setting for advanced learning and research. Guwahati city is gateway to beautiful North-Eastern region of the country and linked with all major cities by rail, road and air. The scenic panorama of the valley, the remarkable architecture, the local points of art and culture have made the city to one of the most popular destinations in the country. The month of December is quite pleasant with an average temperature ranging between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius. Participants are advised to bring with them some woolen clothes. Buses (from Pan Bazar over-bridge), auto-rickshaws and taxis are available from Guwahati City to the IIT Guwahati Campus.

 

Boarding and Lodging
 

Boarding and lodging facilities will be provided for the candidates in the hostel or guest house (based on availability) of the Institute during course period as per the rules and regulations of the TEQIP. Separate accommodation will be provided for male and female candidates.

 

Financial Assistance
 

Participants (from AICTE Recognized & Govt. Institutions only) will be reimbursed TA as per eligible category and rules & regulations of the TEQIP. Train fare in entitled class by shortest route is reimbursable if eligible.
