About Me

Hi, I am Sanjoy Sur Roy, a research scholar in the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Techonology Guwahati. I have been awarded as one of the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) on the July 2022 cycle (direct entry). I am an aspiring experimentalist, currently working the field of Controlled Growth of 2D material for application of electromagnetic interference shielding. I also work in semiconductor nanomaterials based optoelectronic devices.

My research focuses on synthesis of 2D materials using different methods. After the sucessful synthesis of 2D material of my choice, they will explored for different applications (Electromagnetic Interference Shielding and Optoelectronics).
