About Us

Volleyball club has been provided with a large space of 3 courts and with facilities like jerseys, knee caps and what all are required with good support from the admin.
Both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams work hard throughout the year attending regular practice sessions with discipline and dedication and also attend many local tournaments and practice matches regularly to keep improving and to perform their best at the inter iit sports meet. Also, many people work hard on the ground to get selected in the team.
Regular NSO sessions are held to teach students volleyball and to keep them fit.

WHAT WE DO?

• Train the Inter IIT Contingent.
• Organise summer camps for Volleyball.
• Organise beginners classes for new joiners.
• Compete with other teams in the State/Country.

PAST EVENTS

• Inter IIT: The primary goal of every sports club of the IIT (annual event).
• Volleyball Spardha: Inter hostel competition (annual event)
• Summer Camp (Training for competitive Volleyball under guidance of coaches)
• Friendly Matches : Held at regular intervals against the local teams and clubs.
• Volleyball Premier League(VPL) held in the month of march and april.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• 2010: Won bronze medal in 46th inter iit held at IIT Delhi.
• 2013: Won Gold medal in 49th inter iit held at IIT Guwahati
