  4. Received second prize, TechExpo during Techniche 2016 held at IIT Guwahati, prize of Rs 50k 
  5. BIRAC-SRISTI GYTI Award 2016 worth of Rs. 1 lakh for fixing the prosthetic knee for 5 amputees
  6. The prosthetic knee joint was displayed in Indian Medical Devices Exhibition during 08-10th April’2016 at College of Engineering, Pune
  7. Received First prize in best model in Research Conclave 2016, IIT Guwahati during March 17-20, 2016.
  8. The prosthetic and orthotic products developed by us were displayed in Make in India exhibition during 13-18th Feb’2016 at BKC, Mumbai
  9. Received Silver Award for Best Innovator at 7th India Innovation Initiative - i3 National Fair 2015 (Recognizing India's top innovator& potential entrepreneurs) organized by DST, AICTE and CII
  10. The project entitled “Improving hip and spine stability of trans-femoral amputees by deep squat using the inexpensive polymer/composite based polycentric knee joint” was one of the top 7 finalists in Samsung Innovation Awards-2015
  11. One of our papers on Development of Copper (Cu) – Carbon Nanomaterial (CN) based nanocomposite was awarded second prize in Best poster award in Techniche 2015, IIT Guwahati
  12. Mr. S. Arun received first prize in Best Innovation Award-2015 for the project of "Injection mouldable polymeric composite based passive polycentric knee joint" by the GHR Labs & Research Center, Nagpur
  13. Mr. S. Arun received an appreciation under MLM (More from Less for Many) category from Dr.R.A.Mashelkar, Chairperson, National Innovation Foundation - India (NIF) during the Festival of Innovation at Rashtrapati Bhawan New Delhi on March 8, 2015 for his work on "Injection Mouldable Polymeric Composite Based Passive Polycentric Knee joint"
  14. Mr.Padmanabh Baruah and Mr.Rabindra Pator, BTP students, were awarded "Best oral presentation award" in 5th National Symposium for Materials Research Scholars, MR-13, held at IIT Bombay during 8th -10th May, 2013
