E-Cell: is a non-profit student-run organization where the student body crave and explore the constantly evolving world of entrepreneurship and start-up cult. They also host the most prominent annual entrepreneurial summit of the northeast, “UDGAM,” which includes numerous informative events about entrepreneurship. E-Cell also organises various workshops, lectures, innovative games, brainstorming sessions, competitions which provide a complete learning experience to the attendees and fill them with the zeal to change their monotonous lives.

NEWGEN-IDEC: New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (NewGen IEDC) is the programme launched by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. NewGen IEDC aims to inculcate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the young students, encourage and support start-up creation through guidance, mentorship and support. The programme will be implemented in academic institutions. Students will be encouraged to take up innovative projects with possibility of commercialization.

TOCIC: IIT Guwahati in collaboration with Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) has established "TePP Outreach cum Cluster Innovation Centre (TOCIC) IIT Guwahati" to promote innovation in the North-Eastern region of India. "Technopreneur Promotion Program (TePP)" is run by the DSIR to promote individual innovators to become technology - based entrepreneurs (Technopreneurs).

IIT Guwahati Research Park
IIT Guwahati Research Park is a society/ Section-8 Company envisioned as a high energy workspace that provides space for industry-academia collaboration to encourage innovation thinking where faculty, student and industrial personnel meet, interact and work on the industrial problems. Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in "Mann ki Baat" on 22 August, 2020 mentioned about the large quantities of affordable Covid-19 diagnostics kits developed at IIT Guwahati Research Park.

IITG Technology Incubation Centre Guwahati
IITG-TIC is a society for incubating startups and providing technical mentorship through IIT Guwahati. It has signed MoUs with OIL, NRL and Indian Bank for the financial support of the startups. IITG-TIC also signed an MoU with IIMBI (NSRCEL), IIM Bangalore to conduct the Women Startup Program, that aimed at aspiring women entrepreneurs to convert ther ideas into sustainable ventures.
