The M.Tech in Data Science program at IIT Guwahati brings together faculty members from the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, the Department of Mathematics, and the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

Our faculty members are at the forefront of research and innovation in diverse areas such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modeling, optimization, signal processing, and big data systems. Their interdisciplinary expertise ensures that students receive holistic and cutting-edge education and mentorship.

Thesis Supervisors

Students undertaking their interdisciplinary thesis projects are mentored by faculty from the above three departments. Depending on the thesis topic, students is co-supervised by experts from different domains, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.
