Syllabus :
Performance of algorithms: space and time complexity, asymptotics; FundamentalData structures: linked lists, arrays, matrices, stacks, queues, binary trees, tree traversals; Algorithms for sorting and searching: linear search, binary search, insertion-sort, selection sort, bubble-sort, quicksort, mergesort, heapsort, shellsort; Priority Queues: lists, heaps, binomial heaps, Fibonacci heaps; Graphs: representations, depth first search, breadth first search; Hashing: separate chaining,linear probing, quadratic probing; Search Trees: binary search trees, red-black trees, AVL trees, splay trees, B-trees; Strings: suffix arrays, tries; Randomized datastructures: skip lists.
