ABSTRACT: In this lecture I will talk about fractals and its nature, and iterated function system, which is the key for constructing fractals. Also, I will discuss about collage theorem. In the second talk, I will further discuss about fractal interpolation, which is an alternative to classical interpolation (polynomial, spline). Finally, I will discuss about various kinds of fractal interpolation.
