Civil Engineering is considered to be the most versatile branch among all the engineering branches. It is the branch with a lot of diversity from Geotechnical Engineering to Structural engineering, Environmental to Hydraulics, Transportation to Hydrology; Civil Engineering can be considered as a single largest branch among all the engineering branches.

Awarded Second prize in the Best Paper Presentation Competition category at the Indian Geotechnical Conference 2022 (IGC 2022), Kochi, for the paper entitled "Settlement Based Load-Sharing Ratio Variation for Large Piled-Rafts." Springer presented the award, which included the certificate and 100 Euros prize money.
The program includes courses in the basic sciences, engineering sciences, humanities and social sciences, and a number of electives besides the courses in the principal areas of study in Civil Engineering.
The program include Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering and Management, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Water Resources Eng.
The Ph.D. program is aimed at helping the student to acquire proficiency in the chosen area through course work, followed by doctoral research work.
