5th International Conference on Complex Dynamical Systems and Applications 4-6 December 2017 Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India Pre-conference Workshop As a preamble to the actual conference we have organized a one-day pre-conference workshop to be held on the 3rd of December, 2017. The workshop has been organized with an intention to enable one to view and handle some table-top experiments in nonlinear dynamics. This will surely familiarize the participants with a selected collection of the experimental systems which are employed to carry out state of the art research in the field, like oscillatory chemical reactions, chemo-mechanical oscillators, electronic chua circuits, nonlinear microfluidic devices, coupled oscillators, etc. These are the tools scientists use for verifying the theoretical principles of complexity and dynamics in real life.  The workshop is primarily targeted towards young researchers and research scholars. Those participants who are interested to attend, and whose applications for the conference has already been accepted, may send in their applications for the pre-conference workshop on the 3rd of December, 2017.
