The office of Alumni and External Relations (AER) is mandated with facilitating interaction and engaging with the Institute’s alumni and to encourage and develop academic, industrial and research collaborations.

We work to:

• Promote relationships with Indian and foreign universities and academic and research organizations through appropriate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)
• Encourage and assist the departments and institutes of IITG to develop and nurture collaborative academic and research relationships with other organizations, both through our existing MoUs and through new ones
• Interface with government ministries and embassies on matters related to collaborations and MoUs and the visits of external students, faculty and researchers to IITG.
• Provide appropriate assistance to students, faculty and researchers of IITG who wish to visit other organizations with whom IITG has agreements of collaboration.
• Assist the institute in matters relating to external relations.
• Assist the institute in all matters related to national and international conferences
• Provide appropriate assistance to foreign students, visiting scholars, exchange students and interns visiting IITG
