Department of CSE, IIT Guwahati in association with ACM-India's ACM-W is organising an event entitled "Regional Celebration of Women in Computing, East and North-East" during 2 and 3rd November 2015.
This event will be a forum for the lady researchers and faculty members in the region to showcase their work in the form of posters and also get exposure to recent trends in industry and academia. The event will mainly have lectures delivered by eminent lady academicians, researchers and industry leaders. During the two day event participants will get to intereact with eminent personalities in the field of computing and get abreast with the state-of-the art. They will have an opportunity to know what is happening the research in the academia and also get knowhow of how the research outcomes are finally getting into industry deliverables. The poster sessions will help to showcase their work and get peer feedback. Please note that you can also participate without presenting a poster.
