My research interests are in Taylor
dispersion phenomena, solute transport, environment fluid dynamics. In particular, my
research includes to explore dispersion phenomena of a solute in a flowing solvent whether
the transported solute is chemically inert or it undergoes a chemical reaction with the
boundary walls. Our study presents a multi-scale analysis to find the analytical solutions of transverse concentration distribution. It is well known that the Taylor dispersion model only predicts the longitudinal distribution of mean concentration and all the previous studies mostly focused on this. However, the transverse concentration distribution is important from environmental and industrial application view points. The main feature of such study is to predict the peak or the highest concentration value of the evolution curve, which has essential implications for
environmental risk assessment.
