RESEARCH

In my research work, I am developing a methodology to read the grammar of the art work. It is mainly a study on Visual Characteristics of art form. In this study, a feature or attribute of living and non-living things which can identify visually is defined as Visual Characteristics. The villages of eastern rural Jharkhand (Santhal Pargana, Kolhan and North Chotanagpur) have selected for the ethnography study, because in these villages the mud houses are replacing with concrete and consequently, the painted art work demising gradually. As a design researcher I am developing a methodology to preserve the art form visually not as a documentation but as a practice.
