  • Research Concept Grand Challenge Award (RCGCA) 2022 from IIT Guwahati. The Award carries a grant of Rs 2 lakhs.
  • Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award 2016 (National Award)                                                       Hiyoshi Corporation, Japan and Hiyoshi India Ecological Services Pvt. Ltd., India.                       The Award carries a grant Rs 25,000/, memento and a citation. 
  • Kerala State Young Scientist Award 2014                                                                                         Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE)                                     The Award carries a grant Rs 50,000/- , a start up research grant (Rs 50 Lakhs) and               travel support for a trip abroad to present the research work at a conference.
  • Total Cash Award of Rs 7,50,000 has been received for publishing 50 Articles in peer reviewed SCI Journals (SCI Journal).
  • National Doctoral fellowship (NDF)                                                                                                              AICTE since Jan 2006 to Jan 2009                                                                                                     NDF is the most prestigious and highly valued scholarship given by All India Council                 for Technical Education (AICTE) to the top 50 research scholars in India.

Team's Achievements

  • Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF)- Six members from our research group, Ragavan Chandrasekar (Cycle 7), Harish Kumar (Cycle 7), Sandhya Sekhar (Cycle 8), Jyoti Prakash Ray (Cycle 9), Mohammed Askkar (Cycle 11), AjithKumar V (Cycle 11) have been honored as prestigious Prime Minister’s Research Fellow (PMRF) which comes with a monthly stipend of Rs. 70,000 - 80,000/- and a research grant of Rs. 2,00,000/- per year.
  • Mr. Jyoti Prakash Ray, Mr. Ajit Kumar, Mr. C. Ragavan were awarded a prototype development project funded by IIT Guwahati-DST-NEGWEN-IEDC (2023-24) with an annual sum of Rs. 2,50,000/-
  • Mr. Chandi Patra, Ms. Tasrin Shahnaz and Mr. Harish Kumar were awarded a prototype development project funded by IIT Guwahati-DST-NEGWEN-IEDC (2021-22) with an annual sum of Rs. 2,50,000/-

  • Ms. Sandhya S. was awarded 3rd prize (Open Category) in the New Generation Ideation Contest-2021, Hindustan Petroleum Green R&D Centre with a prize money of Rs. 25,000/-.
