Our group is motivated to create new properties of materials by tuning their structures at different length scales and to employ them towards developing new technologies for a greener and safer world. Special attention is directed towards materials with nanometer dimensions.
The unveiling of new properties and phenomena of liquids confined at nanometer length-scale continues to thrill us, and we intend to join this race. We are particularly interested in exploiting nano-confined liquid for technological innovations. One of the main obstacles in this field is the expensive material processing and growth instruments required for the fabrication of nanofluidic devices. Our group works towards the development of new strategies for large-scale fabrication of ultra-small nanofluidic channels in cost effective ways.
We actively bear in mind that our cutting-edge research program should lead at the same time to the overall growth of our scientific aptitude.
