Over the past few decades, science and technology have made remarkable progress and contributed immensely in every walk of life. Heat and Mass Transfer research has played an indispensable role in these developments. In this pursuit, research activities in the area have crossed the scales of time and space. While various phenomena are being investigated at the extremes, many problems at the normal spatial and temporal dimensions are yet to be solved. Thus, this continues to remain one of the most exciting and challenging areas.

The 18th  National & 7th ISHMT-ASME Heat and Mass Transfer Conference  to be held at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, aims at bringing together a number of leading experts of the world on a common platform to speak and outline their vision on the frontier research activities in this area.  

More than 500 leading researchers from academia, R&D organizations and industries from 20 different countries are going to participate in this mega heat and mass transfer event. A total of 365 research papers, including 2 plenary and 17 keynote  papers, covering almost all areas of heat and mass transfer will be presented during the conference.
