Rakhesh Singh Kshetrimayum
received the PhD degree from the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore,
and BTech degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, India.
Since 2005, he has been a faculty member with the department of EEE, IIT Guwahati and is the present Head of the Centre for Career Development. He did postdoctoral research at the department of Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore,
from 2004 to 2005, and the department of EE, Pennsylvania State University, USA,
in 2005. From 2000 to 2001, he worked as a Trainee Software Engineer with the Mphasis, Pune. His research interests are in the broad areas of printed antennas, passive microwave devices and MIMO wireless communications. He has authored or co-authored 3 books and over 120 international journal and conference papers.
Prof. Kshetrimayum is on the editorial board of multiple international journals, and is Associate Editor of the IET Journal of Engineering
and Editor of the AEU International Journal of Electronics and Communications
. In addition, he has served on the committees of several IEEE conferences in various capacities like TPC Chair (Communications track) of the NCC 2016 and TPC Co-chair of the IEEE AEMC 2015. He is the recipient of several awards including the IETE Journal of Research
's Best Research-Oriented Paper Award 2017 and IEEE ANTS 2017 Best Paper Award (Third Prize). He is a Fellow of the IET, UK, and Senior Member of the IEEE, USA.
