Criteria for short-listing Dual Degree candidates:
B.E/B.Tech in any discipline other than CSE or IT or related streams, with any one of the following criteria
(a) CPI of 7.5 or 70% aggregate marks and a valid GATE score in any subject, if the qualifying BE/B.Tech degree is from a non-CFTI
(b) CPI of 7.0 or more and a valid GATE score in any subject, if the qualifying B Tech degree is from a CFTI
(c) CPI of 8.0 or above, if the qualifying B Tech degree is from an IIT
There will be a written test for all selected candidates. Based on performance in the written test, a short list of candidates will be called for interview. Short-listing criteria for the same will be communicated later.

Accommodation for Boys is arranged in Barak Hostel. Accommodation for Girls is arranged in Subansiri Hostel. [Look for "Hostels" in the IITG Campus Map here.] You may also kindly note the following: (a) ACCOMMODATION WILL BE GIVEN ON MULTI-SHARING BASIS. (b) For bedding, pillow etc., the participants may need to arrange themselves by contacting a suitable vendor. (c) For arranging food, the participants may speak to the hostel mess caterers. Food bills will be raised by the caterers for direct settlement. (d) Only the participant will be provided accommodation. Accompanying persons, if any, cannot be accommodated.
