About the workshop
Department of Physics,
Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG)
Electron Microscopy Society of Indian (EMSI) welcome you to Guwahati, (Assam), the gateway to North-eastern India, which is the venue for the "National workshop on Advanced Probing Techniques in TEM (APTTEM-2016)".
In the recent years, several advances have taken place in the fields of characterization of materials using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and allied techniques. This workshop is intended for researchers researchers, academicians and technocrats, who are interested in learning with the latest developments in the field electron microscopy, e.g., precission electron diffraction, electron energy loss spectroscopy, etc.
This workshop will be in the form of lectures / presentation by eminent experts in the field followed by laboratory and demonstration of images analysis.
In this endeavour, Electron Microscopy Society of Indian (EMSI), which was established in 1961 as a national forum, joins hands with
IITG to stage this workshop for promoting a stronger interaction between the researchers, academicians and technocrats engaged in microstructural analysis of the materials for their research work.
